Meet The Pack

The inspiration for Bobo’s Pets came from these guys – Grubbiss, a lazy English Bulldog and Marcel, a French Bulldog that specializes in running amuck and being the perfect little lapdog.

The Founders

Grubbiss

Health-Challenged Lovebug

Grubbiss is a 7-year old English Bulldog who loves to just lay around, eat treats and get pets. Unfortunately, Grubbiss suffers from some breed-specific & non-specific health problems. Along with the typical weight & breathing issues that English Bulldogs struggle with, Grubbiss has had chronic allergy, skin, paw and ear problems. Grubbiss also struggles with a dry snout which the vet says is due to his eye surgeries he had when he was younger.

With all of these health issues, his pawrents have had their fair share of experience in treating and maintaining his various ailments with medications from the vet as well as natural home remedies. That’s how the idea of Bobo’s Pets was created. Our goal is to provide information for other dog parents to ensure that their pup leads a happy, healthy life.

Marcel

Chief Socializer & Treat Tester

Unlike Grubbiss, Marcel is a dream when it comes to his health. In his 5 years on this planet, he has only had one set of ear infections and has only been rushed to the vet once after sneakily eating an entire bowl of grapes.

While Marcel is a health dream, his challenges are more of the behavioral nature. Marcel really enjoys barking at everything and anyone out of sheer excitement, jumping on people because he really feels the need to be inside people’s faces – not close to faces but actually inside faces – crying when he doesn’t get his way and pulling on his leash because he needs to see and smell everything.

Marcel also happens to be a mama’s boy and the best cuddle buddy in existence.

Dad Mark

Mark Perlman

Founder

Mark has been Grubbiss & Marcel’s guardian since they were wee little puppies. He’s been through the ringer when it comes to handling and managing Grubbiss’ health issues as well as Marcel’s behavioral challenges. The experience he’s gained over the years is what drives the engine behind Bobo’s Pets.
